Our History
GOKON Nigeria Limited began its journey as a construction firm, providing services to the Federal Government, including the construction and rehabilitation of major road networks such as the PH–Owerri and PH–Mbiama axes.
In the 1980s, the company’s Chairman was appointed Chairman of the Nigerian Chamber of Indigenous Contractors, reflecting its growing reputation and influence within the industry.
With the advent of democracy, GOKON Nigeria Limited spearheaded the rehabilitation of the Rivers State Marine Transport Company under the administration of Governor Peter Odili—demonstrating its commitment to national development and infrastructural excellence.
Over time, the company expanded into multiple sectors including engineering services, petroleum supply, oil tools, corrosion control, pipeline services, and environmental remediation. This expansion enabled the company to build strong partnerships and deepen its industry expertise.
In recent years, GOKON has made significant strides in the importation and distribution of oil and gas products, partnering with leading companies to deliver consistent, high-quality solutions across Nigeria.
